Customer service is perhaps R & S Pool & Spa’s strongest point. This doesn’t just apply to the way we treat our customers with the kind of courtesy any business should - but to having parts that they need when they need them in the short season we have in the St. Louis area. We have been told by many of our manufacturer’s reps, that R & S has the largest inventory of parts in stock. That is, more than any other single retailer in the country. We have well over 10,000 line items and a good quantity of each.

Our building has 28,000 sq. ft. with ample parking. 11,000 sq. ft. make up the showroom: With more than a sixty-foot-long service counter, express counter, room for three above-ground pools, about 17 spas, 2 saunas, three gazebos, aisles of inflatable toys, and a full line of chemicals, which include chlorine, low chlorine, and no chlorine systems. Our counter has six computer/cash registers to expedite each transaction most efficiently.

When customers approaches our counter, they will be greeted by one of our eight counter people, our service manager, service techs, or perhaps our shipper, with a combined total of 201 years of experience; that’s an average of 14.3 years per employee. All of that experience with an average employee age of 39. Needless to say, this is what most of our staff has done all their lives.

We also have three water testing labs. In the spring and early summer, we test an average of 100 water samples daily. Though R & S has computers to help with our water tests, we insist on writing out each test report and helping select the products for each customer. We feel, even with this volume, the personal touch is important. There is also an express lane to expedite service to those customers who walk in and know what they need on heavy traffic days.

R & S, is very proud of its expertise in repairing spa packs and pumps. We have been the authorized service center for numerous manufactures for many years. R & S does in house pump repair for customers and many of the other pool companies in St. Louis Metro Area.
